Orientation was like so so fun! I was all psyched up and I totally could not sleep last night till about 3am. Well I was supposed to meet Wen Yi, Sara, Li Ying and Adeline before we got to school. We ended up a bit late because Sara and Li Ying got delayed somewhere. But we made it in time. We got in, and had to do our registration. I'm not wrong there were 5 IT classes. Maybe 6. But I knew that the whole school of IT (SIT) was having the orientation together. Well we immediately got sorted into our classes. And guess where I got into? I got into IT 0901. Which means I'm in the 1st class of IT. All my life in secondary school I was always in the E1 class and for the next 3 years, I'll be stuck in this class. Haha. Well after I registered, I sat in my class with this malay guy. We didn't talk at first. Then we got into the outside of the atrium, LOL and I asked him what his name was, and he started talking to me. Well we were both mingling of all sorts of things, Luqman is his name. Both of us got the feeling that we were the only 2 people, till after a while, more came in. There was this China girl ( Every year I get stuck with someone from China ), her name was Yu Meng which I thought was Yu Monk! Anyway then this couples, Xue Li and Hui Qi, both from Seragoon Garden Sec I think. Then after that we got into the Atrium. It is this super huge place... And it was cold... And while waiting, maybe for that hour or so, we were listening to music. Music which was making us sleepy. I and Luqman, spoke here and there, he is a really friendly guy. Well then we were getting the feeling that we were the only Malay & Indian people around. Just then, A Malay girl, Salina and A Indian boy I think, maybe Indian muslim, but he looked like an Indian, came in. Haha. Oh and guess who else is in my class? It's JANSEN CHEW!!! Haha. I was really happy for one second, then I got over it. Haha. ~ After we had all settled in, which was after 10.30am, the show started. It started off with a drama put up by the OGL ( Orientation Group Leaders ). It was like super funny. I was laughing my ass off! Haha. Then the director spoke, and then the admin office lady, the counsellor, the librarian and the NYAA talk and then it was time to break off with our OGLs. I've decided not to comment on them because it would take too long. Well then we went off to the labs where we were supposed to meet out mentor, who supposedly was in MC. So instead we played some ice breakers. I was really surprised at how involved I was. Anyway, we first played the game called "Pass it on" where we were supposed to do charades. You know, the whole charlie chaplin mimicking thingy. Well I started first. I was given aeroplane. So I had to start with an action which was passed on to the last person. I wish I could describe it, but you should have been there to see it! My aeroplane changed to something else half way. Gosh! Then next was a bomb. So I was the last person, which means I had to guess it, and since sound effects were allowed, I got the msg that it was a bomb. Things got even better, when jelly fish turned out to be a flying fish? And batman becoming something I have no idea what it was... It was really fun. Then we went to have lunch which was doubly awesome. Anyway we played more games and had so much fun. Most of the games were those we played in council but apparently, since we never tired the games, I didn't have much idea. Like there was this mat flipping game, where we had to stand on the mat at one side, and we had to change it over without stepping out of the mat. To my council buddies, it must sound familiar, but apparently, I had no idea how to play that game. I think the best game so far was the Hunter & the Bear, it kinda reminded me of the Police & Murderer, which was my most favourite game!!... ~ Gosh all this reminds me of secondary school. I miss council!! I miss my executive committee!! I miss being a lame and silly secretary. I miss everything!! ~ Oh well the thing that really caught me off guard was the missing lyrics thingy. Thank god we went for option B instead of A. I'm not good with lenona lewis. But I guess secondhand serenade's Fall for you came through for me. I'm checking the lyrics now and I think I did get it right. It stopped at "But tonight will be the night that I will fall for you, over again". So then I continued with don't need to change my mind and etc. until impossible to find. Well then the OGL said my 1st part was wrong. Which is not true! Maybe its quite true? Tomorrow I'm going to find Salina and tell her! Haha. ~ I think I'm going to have so much fun with my class. It's like a total mixture of everyone. I like being in IT0901. Lets just hope that wise decisions are made in the course of the 3 years. Currently in a group chat with a few of my classmates who are debating if we should meet for breakfast. Haha. Got to go darlings.
