Hey guys.
Just a change of blog skin because God knows how long I had the old one.
Still cheers to the designer of the blog because she kept me hooked on the old one for like ever!
LOL.
This blog skin has a total different makeover.

This is how it actually looked when I first got it.
But usually I go through the trouble just to make it very personal and close to my heart.
I admit I have no idea how to start from scratch to make a blog skin, but I do know how to play around.
So here I have played around.
Life has been going on as normal these past few days.
We found a job on our first interview, but happens so it was so damn tough and since I and Abigail could not take it, we had to quit the next day.
It was direct sales.
I stumbled upon the advertisement by accident.
We had already prepared to go for another one when we saw this and since the pay seemed better *$400-$600 per week*, we thought it would be great.
Went for the interview, filled up a form, a guy called Mohan did the interview with us.
He was totally joking around and making us comfortable and told us he would call us by 6.30pm the same day.
So we decided we would not look for any other job and hung around Ngee Ann City for sometime before going back to Abby's place.
After sometime while we were on the train, we got a call. *Time check: 4.32pm*.
I attended to it and it was Mohan, he said we got the Job.
We were very excited and we actually screamed on the phone.
Went shopping for my white blouse and black pants.
Next morning we got there and were given 10 photo albums *Mickey Mouse albums*
I've seen them at ABC *Cheapest store in Singapore*, where they only sell it for $1-$2.
But we were expected to sell it for $10.
Gosh, we had training for sometime till about 11, then we headed out in groups to our designated areas.
There were a total of 18 people, 3 groups, 6 in each.
My group was lead by Elvis, who was 14yrs old along with Divakaren *Diva*, with another 2 Chinese girls who got fired half way and Me and Abby.
We had the place near Somerset all to ourselves and we started selling.
Got chased out of a shopping centre, and from there we decided to split in pairs.
The 2 Chinese girls went somewhere, Elvis and Diva went somewhere close to us and we got to work.
We got to keep 23% of what we sold, which meant if we sold the album which cost $10, we would get $2.50.
Since it was the first day, we had a group prize, if out group sold more than 30, we would get $50.
Also an individual prize, if we sold more than 30 ourselves, another $50.
So we got to work, knowing that other groups will be into this.
In one hour I only sold one.
I mean I was the only one in the whole group who sold anything.
After sometime, I called up Elvis told him we needed a break.
Abby was so keen on quitting, she bought a newspaper to find one.
We sat at the bus-stop and we got a phone call from a restaurant we had applied a day before calling us in for an interview which I said we would get there around 7pm.
Then had lunch with the other 2 guys and the 4 of us planned to quit.
Then we went to a shopping center, got to the top level and saw some seats where we sat to chill.
About 2pm we got a call to get back to Takashimaya's 7Eleven and we would be guided.
So started on our way, while we tried to call out other 2 members, they kept canceling out calls.
Only did we realize upon arriving at the meeting place, that out of 18 people, only 7 of us remain.
Others had already quit in about 1/2 to 1 hour.
Gosh, from then till about 5.30pm, Mohan had helped us with our sales.
From selling 1, I managed to sell 7.
LOL.
Then got back to office and were given our salary.
Then on our way out, we planned not to come back next day.
The next day only Elvis and Diva went in while the other 5 of us had given up.
Well the interview we had at a restaurant at 7pm went well, but after the interview Abby changed her mind, so when I was called up I had to reject the offer.
It totally sucks.
But either way Abby found a job at her mum's place which would only start next month.
Salary is very reasonable so maybe I might chill for this month.
Today I accompanied Mum to Little India and had already gotten my Christmas outfit.
It was really cute, it's an Anarkali suit which cost about $120 before Deepavali and then the shop keeper reduced it to $80 and after Mum's bargain it was $75.
The suit is really expensive and I'll be getting the same kinda suit for Shanti Akka's wedding reception.
Gosh being a bridesmaid does not come cheap really.
Thanks tons to my Mum for getting me that.
Haha.
I have one final last paper on Tuesday, after which I would go and slack.
So I just hope maybe we would find a better job earlier because I don't want to gain weight by sitting at home doing nothing.
I think I said tons and tons already.
So tired and I guess I better do something else.
