Hey! Yesterday, the day spent at church was really amazing... Well I reached church at about 6.30pm, and the music team really wanted me to sing my worship songs so that they could practice. Well I guess its a great start, that way I would be prepared too. So yeah, I guess the music team guys were really very supportive of me. So after that we cleaned the church. I was kinda surprised when Reuben asked me to vacuum the carpet. I was expecting him to tell me to clean the toilet or something, but anyway I was done with my vacuuming within a few minutes. Havolyn was busy slacking, just walking around, assisting me here and there. Then Reuben and Stanley cleaned the toilet, but I can tell you they didn't do a good job of it because they were afraid of having body odour later on and we had to last about 8-9 hours in church. Haha. Me and Havolyn got hungry, so went to the Rubiyah restaurant and had prata and Aunty Padma joined us when we were about to finish. Then we went to church and Uncle Paul had already arrived and then Melvin came too.
So we started out youth fellowship. And I guess my worship leading skills has improved from last month like tremendously. LOL. And once we were done with worship, Aunty Padma shared the word of God. She kinda suggested a name for the youth, Jabez. She said that we could quote the bible verse and the chapter too. I think it was an awesome idea and basically, her whole sharing was about Jabez. And I really felt something inside me when she was sharing it. Once we were done, we shared our desires with the other youth and different of us had different desires... And then Aunty said that we had to dedicate ourselves to God that day so that he could work in us. And all of us came forward and did a prayer and Uncle Paul and Aunty Padma were like really proud of us and all and were happy that the youth finally came through. Haha. There are like 6 of us in the youth, Me, Havolyn, Stanley, Reuben, Melvin and Samuel. There are a few more, but I guess we are the more committed ones yeah. After that, we went through the prayer requests and then we finished off with our Mother's Day discussion. So for Mother'a day, we will be doing the decoration on friday night itself and on Sunday we have a few performances in mind... Um, me and havolyn will be singing a song I guess. We already came up with the song and all, but we haven't had a proper rehersal. But I think we could reherse on friday yeah...
Then Uncle Paul went to get us dinner and we slacked around. Then we all had dinner together as a whole family. LOL. Once that was done, the rest of the church started coming in at about 11plus for our overnight service... We started even before 12midnight la. Hais... But then I guess I was totally shacked and all...
We finished at about 4plus and then Uncle Gideon was supposed to send me home, but he got delayed because Aunty Punitha was cleaning the toilet. Now you know why the other 2 didn't do a good job of cleaning the toilet. Besides Aunty Punitha has got a super sensitive nose luh! Then Uncle Gideon got his car. Reuben, 19 this year, will be getting his licence on the 29th May. So awesome and I'm so jealous!! I can't wait till I'm 18!! But anyway, Reuben does the basic things like reversing the car and such because he can't drive till he gets his licence. So Uncle Gideon drove me near my house and Reuben escorted me to my house lift and he was showing off about how by next overnight, he could start driving! LOL. But he is such a good escort luh! Gigantic escort. Haha.
So I stepped into my house at 4.46am and after washing my legs, grabbing a bite of chocolate and I got into bed like at about 4.51am. Yeah! And I slept like a log till like 12.30pm this morning... I guess church was pretty awesome as always. And I have tons of assignments and stuff to finish. LOL. Tomorrow is my 3rd week of school yeah. Can't wait for my term break. But I have to go now.
