Awesome. ♥

On thursday when I left, I also took along a book and a pen, reason being, I wanted to write down things when I was free because I happen to be a forgetful person.
So here goes...

6.15am

I've just boarded the train. usually when someone is carrying a huge bag or luggage, they tend to be stopped by the officer at the control station who would access or check if we are carrying any illegal items, but today as much as I was expecting someone to stop me at the ticket booth, I wasn't stopped. The one and only man at the control station was fast asleep. It was almost my lucky day. If I had been stopped by anyone, then I would have missed my train. But thank God. Now that I'm on the train, I'm receiving weird looks now and then, here and there. It's like they have never seen someone with a huge baggage. Ok, but mine isn't so huge. Furthermore it looks like I ran away from home and people might come to a conclusion that I'm working on a letter to my parents now. LOL. Imagine that. ME. Running away from home writing a parents telling them about it.

6.24am

At the moment, an Indian man seated at the opposite row is eyeing me suspiciously. What should I do? I just hope to get out of the train ASAP.

Oh well, in between I had not much time to write much, I just know that I reached the house at about 7am and everyone was asleep.
I thought that Jaya Akka ( Shanti Akka'a 2nd sister ) was leaving at 7.
So Shantini Akka ( She lives with Jaya Akka ) set up a bed for me around 8am and forced me to bed.
Then the rest of us woke up around 10am and by the time we left the house it was already about 12.30.

Well in between we had time to take some pictures and I had fun with these 2 girls.
I'm missing them like hell already.
Then we were fed up with the new checkpoint.
It was like a race road.
After clearing the Singapore customs, we had to clear the Malaysia one, and they recently rebuild it.
It was just tiring that you walk in circles and it was not a short walk like last time where you justy walk in and get out.
But this time you have tons to pass.
So fed up, once we were done with it, we went to a saloon near by where Jaya Akka and Shantini Akka went for threading.
Then we had lunch at a restaurant.

Dora had kept mentioning tissue prata and I wanted to try it.

Well this tissue prata was just a little bit thick, it had condensed milk all over it and it was super crunchy.
I like it actually.
LOL.

After that we got to Mala Akka and Shankar Anna's house. ( Mala Akka is Shanti Akka's first sister, Shankar Anna is her husband).
The house was already so chaotic.
Shankar Anna was no where to be seen because he was working in Singapore as a Police Officer.
Anyway everyone there was super nice to me.
And I like it.
LOL.
Well in between many things happened which were not worth mentioning.
LOL.
Then around 7 plus we went over to Kumar Anna's house ( Shanti Akka's 3rd brother) which was about 5mins away from Mala Akka's house.
There we had to do henna for Shanti Akka.
From about 7.30-11.30, the women ( Shantini's cousin) had been putting henna for the two hands.
Gosh I tell you in was so not nice.
But I spent the time wisely with Michelle and Joash. (Kumar Anna and Melissa Akka's children)

Well then it was already quite late before we settled back into Mala Akka's home.

1.09am

Wonder what I'm doing up at his hour? Even I have no idea, the whole place is very hectic and tomorrow is the wedding. In about 9-10 hours from now, I'll be off to get my gown which has me all excited. But other than that my excitement has died down from the time I was waiting to get here. Now I'm here and I can't wait to get to bed. Even at this house, the house seems lively. Gosh and I just had a cold shower some time back and the truth is I only take a shower in hot/warm water back in Singapore at home. I have a phobia of cold water. LOL.

1.16am

I'm super sleepy now, but it isn't so obvious when you look at my face. I think when I hit the pillows, I'll be fast asleep, no doubt about that. The people here are quite weird. No words to explain, but weird in a good way. They all seem nice to me.

Then I hit the pillows about close to 3 after massaging Shanti Akka's back.

Well after this I kinda gave up on writing because I had no time at all.
The next morning we woke up about 9/10am and I had breakfast, 2 Roti Prata.
Then we left with Suresh Anna ( Shanti Akka's husband, they already had their wedding resgistered ), Shanti Akka and Shankar Anna.
Since Akka did not have breakfast we went to a shop and I was forced into eating another 2 Roti Prata.
Then we went to the POP Bridal to see my gown.
Akka had already seen one for me and when I got there they told me to try it.
And wow, it was amazing.
It just fit me and I loved it.
Shankar Anna was like its going to take one hour.
But we just tried the gown, then the lady took a few measurements and we got out.
Then came the whole blow.
After that we went to Sutera Mall and shopped for Shankar Anna's shoes, white shirt and black pants, he was going to accompany Shanti Akka down the aisle.
Well it took ages, and then we got back around 4 after shopping at 2 places, and then took another cold shower and got ready to go to church for the rehersal.
Well then I got into Ramesh Anna's car ( He is Shanti Akka's 1st brother ) and we started to church.
We were supposed to be there at 7pm, but because Shanti Akka did not follow Ramesh Anna's car and got lost, and we had to wait for her to find us and then by the time we drove there it was already 7.30pm and Shankar Anna also came in time after his hair cut.
Then we had the rehersal and by the time we got home it was already about 10plus.
We were not allowed to sleep in Mala Akka's house because they are decorating it for the couples first night, and so we moved to Kumar Anna's place.
And I was so happy to hear that they had water heater there.
LOL.
Well then I was super tired that I went to sleep and was woken up again by Shanti Akka who wanted to put henna on her hand and needed my help.
As I was helping, her Suresh Anna came and was like let me do it dear.
And I was free, but I was so afraid to sleep that I went to the resting room and sat on the couch and eventually fell asleep.
Then I was woken up and pushed to the carpet floor to sleep.
LOL.
It was about 3am then.

20/12/2008

The big day for her, but she was driven nuts and driving everyone nuts.
Woke up early went to the hair saloon to wash her hair and straighten her nieces hair.
Then we headed to Kumar Anna's home to get my bags and after putting my bag into the car we headed to the POP Bridal where we had our make up done.
Then I must admit I looked so FAB!!
Not boasting but I wasn't the same Veni who I was before the makeup.
LOL.
Then the bus from Singapore to JB kinda got cocked up due to some problems and most of those who was supposed to turn up did not.
Suresh Anna & Shanti Akka were so furious.
Gosh you should have seen them both.
But anyway Akka looked pretty and hot.
Haha.
Anyway then we got into the bride and groom's car and well the rest is history.
We just happened to reach the place quite early and after the groom had entered the hall, the bride and I sat in the car for 2 whole hours.
In fact it was longer.
From about 4 plus to 7.
Haha.
Then it was time for her to walk in.
Well first the ring boy went it, then the 5 flower girls went in and then I went in.
Then she and her Shankar Anna came in and then Suresh Anna held her and they went up the stage and wedding went on well.
A few hiccups here and there, nothing so serious.
Then after vows and rings were exchanged it was time to change for the reception.
Well food was awesome, just that I did not get to try so much.
LOL.
But the trip home was awesome, I was in Uncle Paul's car and wow.
No words can explain it.
Then when I got home, Uncle Paul sent Reuben and Melvin to send me right to my door step.
It was like my very own body guards.
Haha.

I was glad to be home, in my own toilet, to feel the hot water run down my body, to be able to hug my bolster, to feel my own pillow and no one to stop me from sleeping!

So yeah the wedding was a beautiful affair.
