It was totally expected. When aerocratz got a standing ovation from the judges in the semi finals itself, it was the group meant to be. On sunday in a conversation I and havolyn shared, I told her that it had to be aerocratz and killerbeez need to be next. And even though the voting was on the RSR side, I could never be swayed. And after watching the performance I was 100% sure that only the last 3 groups, Aerocratz, KillerBeez and Agni Reloaded would be the top and 3. And I was right! I love Aerocratz to the max!!
Well with the good news, there is always bad news. Its been almost about 3 years since we got our own church building, paying rent of course, but unlike the previous builidings, we could come into church as and when we like, we could organise many events. We had just started our leadership platforms in church this month and then came the news. Each month we had to be paying about $1500 and now, the rent has been raised to $2500. Sadest part is that when out contract ends in november, we would either have to leave this place, or buy it. It sucks. Totally! When we first got this place, we turned what was a rubbish dump to what it is now. We spend almost ten thousand on it and now, we would have to give it up. Everybody was so broken down that the church picnic had been canceled. They wanted to cancel the barbecue, but I guess Melvin came to the rescue and asked it to be outside church instead. I love this place so much! So much of memories...
Today is tuesday, we will be having barbecue with the youth. Finally tons of fellowship time. And hopefully we would be able to finish up the chickens this time round. LOLs. I'm excited and also not to excited. Today the church would be gathering to discuss on the current situation. Why can't we just buy it. I know we can't afford it and all. But I'm sure we can try right?
Oh to ALFH and ALGH and Ali and Baba, I think its time that you guys left. Maybe it was one guy, or maybe 2 or even 4, I don't care, You are not wanted at my tagboard!!
What happen to all the promises that you said wherever our footsteps fall, the place would belong to us. Why does it all have to happen now ?
